Arenal Volcano

Costa Rica Feb. 24, 2003.  In all of my travels (more than 2 million miles to 47 countries), experiencing the eruption of this volcano was one of the most exciting and thrilling experiences ever.... ranking right up there with rafting the Grand Canyon and witnessing a pride of lions attack a buffalo in the Serengeti.  The continued coughing and wheezing between awesome explosions that rattled the windows a mile away.
